A Favourite Technique

One of my favourite techniques is making silk paper. The other day I made some more so that I have a stock of it to dip into. This bag is made out of one of the pieces. The edging is ribbon I bought from Nostalgia who were at the Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate last year. Saving some of my pennies for the show this year. I have a long long list to stock up from some of my favourite suppliers who will be there. Can't wait!

This is a beautiful bag. Love the color and the trim is a very nice touch. Nicely done!

Luscious colours Jan and I like the ribbon trim. Obviously 'Nostalgia' don't come down to Ally Pally which is a shame.

Thank you for your kind comments. It is a pity Nostalgia don't get down to Ally Pally. They have some lovely items. I know purchases can be made over the internet and by mail but I do like to be able to actually see and touch the ribbons. We embroiderers are so tactile!

That's such a lovely bag Jan. Beautiful colours and those ribbons along the top just finish it perfectly.

Absolutely gorgeous Jan.
Love the colours in this one. Are you going to wear it at Harrogate?
